Today is the second day of our book blog tour, and today the good news is that Girl in the Arena hits the shelves. It’s a great addition to the YA section of your local bookstore.
First of all, in reading all the posts today, I came across an interview at Fireside Musings that gave Lise Haines’s web site. Shame, shame on me. I did a Google search on he name and it didn’t pull up a web site on the first page so I assumed she didn’t have one. I should have thought to put her name in as a URL. Duh! So if you would like to visit Lise’s site please go post haste to http://www.lisehaines.com/
Go and visit these sites for new posts:
- Abby the Librarian posted her review
- Amanda at A Patchwork of Books has put up her review
- Becky reviews the book at Becky’s Book Reviews
- Marie, at Fireside Musings, scored a wonderful interview with Lise.
- Kathy, at Homeschool Buzz, true to her homeschooling educator self, has linked to several articles about Roman gladiators.
- At Maw Books, Natasha gave an insightful review
- Julie, over in her little corner of the world, gives a short review and a link to the author’s story of how the book came into being
- Annie has a wonderful and not too superfast interview at Reading is my Superpower
- Shel at Hungry Readers (which used to be Through a Child’s Eyes–my bad for forgetting the name change), gives a review (she found the book to be yummy), her famous quotes and activities (I love those features) and promises an interview tomorrow
That’s all I have for you today. Come back tomorrow for more discussion, interviews, and reviews all about Girl in the Arena!
