Some great, great posts out there for the second day of our Diamond of Darkhold tour.
My favorites today are this conversation between three blog tour bloggers, and Kyle’s interview.
There are several good interviews out there, Comox Valley Kids has a good one, and Through the Looking Glass has another. Homeschool Buzz has some good educational links and Never Jam Today has a short explanation [...]

More on Links
September 30th, 2008 · No Comments
I guess the deal on the links is that you have copy the code I give you into a text editor and change the curly quotes to straight quotes and then copy that into your html in your post.
I am not sure why I paste in straight quotes and they get converted to curly quotes. I [...]

I just highlighted the list below and copied the list below straight into my visual editor and it worked.
Easy.

Broken Links
September 29th, 2008 · 4 Comments
Robin, at Comox Valley Kids, had some trouble with the links to participating bloggers.
For some reason when she pasted my code into her blog it added quote marks and stripped the http part of the addresses.
I’m not sure how to fix the problem.
Please check your links to see if they work and if not, try [...]

The Raucous Royals
September 22nd, 2008 · No Comments
Here’s a fun book for us to tour. The Raucous Royals, by Carlyn Beccia. Check her website out–it’s full of fun. Amazon says the book is for ages 4-8 but I’m thinking they might mean grades 4-8 because the humor in this book wouldn’t probably appeal to a four-year-old, I don’t think.
Anyway, swing by the [...]

I’m giving away a free book, Farworld: Water Keep, at my All About Children’s Book blog. Well, actually J. Scott Savage is giving it away. If you are interested go on over. I reviewed the book and did an author interview, also.

Alan Gratz Invitation
September 8th, 2008 · No Comments
I’ve sent out the invitations for the Alan Gratz tour, which will run October 27-29.
The book is Something Wicked which is the second Hoatio Wilkes mystery. The first being Something Rotten.
These are mysteries, well written, with a an interesting protagonist. Alan is a funny man and a great writer.
